The corridors ring hauntingly with odd winds, and as human-made constructs turn into earth and stone, your party reaches a dead-end. Your EXPLORER KITS and Pokemon should be able to help you. The company has encouraged the most intrepid and capable of trainers to dig deeper with their Pokemon, after all.[break][break][break]

Should you break down the walls, perhaps, you'll find treasures to take home for yourselves. In order to receive a treasure, you must fully reveal it by breaking all the tiles they are contained in; however, you can only break down 3 tiles per floor. So, choose which tiles to break wisely![break][break][break]

If a tile says requests for a type, all moves used must be of that type unless otherwise specified. If a tile asks for a particular power value, you must hit that value exactly (e.g. total 260 - all of your moves added together, must total 260 power).[break][break][break]

the tension was high. the three people he was with weren't exactly the most friendly people in rocket. priam can only assume they're friends if they all agreed to come with him for this adventure.

"are you guys really here for fun?" he asks, eyes moving through each of the people he's with. the tone was questioning, since these people, specifically dom and marcel, do not seem to be like people who would dig shit for fun.

"trick question! the answer is always yes!"

he throws his pokeball at the wall, hitting it before the pokemon actually gets released from its confines. a blaziken appears and charges with flame charge, hitting the wall with its fire-coated body.

they can't leave him now because they already started and it's now the point of no return. "these aren't refundable, by the way," priam mentions as he nudges towards the explorer kit.

no dominic mouths his answer to priam into the darkness. his angular features are briefly lit up by the screen of his phone as he sends a message before pocketing the device. he sincerely doubts he’ll continue receiving reception for much longer as they descend further down into the depths.

dominic’s gaze drops down to his own explorer kit and it occurs to him that he’d barely looked at the contents - he’d only opened it to stash not one but two flasks in. for later. just in case.

"you know i love nothing more than to go on field trips with you guys," dominic drawls as he inclines his head to send gavin a wry, derisive glance. "shame that lucas couldn’t join us this time."

dominic taps his arcanine on the side and gestures toward a portion of the wall as it heaves in a deep breath and exhales a FLAMETHROWER.

Not even Dominic's acerbic attitude can bring down Gavin's mood on a job like this; he grins at Priam in answer. "Course I am."

He doesn't miss the look the underboss gives him, but shrugs it off for the sake of keeping the peace. He couldn't have agreed faster when Priam had invited him along and Marcel's presence was enough to offset the tension between himself and Dominic — so far, at any rate.

A Tyrantrum bursts from its capsule, her fiery fangs casting shadows as she tears chunks from the wall.

priam points out the truth without remorse because it's true. they needed better acting skills if they want to deceive priam like that since priam can't even fake being believing it.

he takes his luxray out of its pokeballs and pats it on the back. it starts to wild charge against the wall to break more of it. contrary to popular belief, hanging out with lucas lane doesn't grant priam the knowledge to recognize artifacts on the walls.

Gavin's not surprised when Priam sees through the others' deception; they hadn't been trying. He shrugs it off, still in high spirits.

"We'll just have twice the fun to make up for it."

It's not a hard promise for Gavin to live up to. As the wall crumbles beneath their combined efforts, the Rocket spots the edge of what could be a fossil buried in the rock. He'd have focused his attention on it immediately if Priam hadn't elected to attack the other side.

"Careful what you break," he advises, "that relic looks valuable."

He indicates the relic vase before returning his Tyrantrum and replacing her with Zeraora. The white-furred thunder cat yowls before charging up its plasma fists and throwing a wild punch.

dominic blinks the grit of dust out of his eyes and, briefly, fantasies about the tunnel caving in around them. he switches the arcanine out for a luxray, though the pokemon immediately wheels around to snarl at the the electric-types alongside it. he snaps his fingers to catch its attention (the tactic worked well enough when it was a shinx) and directs it to attack the wall instead.

"mind the teeth," dominic mutters as he pulls a flask from the kit and throws his head back to drink.

They reveal another fossil, and this time Gavin's sure of it. He swaps out for an Arctovish, hoping to chip away the dirt and rock without damaging the priceless object within. Unfortunately for him, Arctovish were not the brightest Pokemon.

With eyes on the top of its head, its aim isn't the best. Its attempt to freeze-dry the indicated wall hits a different section entirely.

Before he can get too frustrated, Gavin spies a strange disc-shaped object in the now ice-encrusted wall, stepping closer with a frown to get a better look. "The hell is this?"

when gavin produces a fish from his collection of pokemon, priam immediately searches for one in his too. "i got a fish too!" he exclaims.

the carvanha pops out of the pokeball. priam safely picks it up by hand since he knows this carvanha doesn't have rough skin, before pointing it at the wall. as soon as the arctovish uses its attack, priam lets his pokemon do its own thing too.

"scale shot."

the move reveals more to the wall. priam creeps nearer to take a peek at what got gavin's attention, although he doesn't recognize it. "it's a thing, you know..." he says, trying to contribute to the conversation.

dominic recalls the luxray before it sees gavin and priam's fish pokemon lest it mistake them for a snack. the underboss regards his group and their conversation with some apathy for a moment before producing another capsule to release a mimikyu.

the pokemon turns to look first at its trainer and then at the assault of the wall behind it. "go on," dominic urges it, with something resembling encouragement. the mimikyu blinks its big, round eyes and hesitantly creeps forward as it musters its energy to unleash a blast of flames at the wall.
